Medical Scribe – Ultrasound Specialist at Bass Medical Group in Mountain View, Santa Clara County. We're seeking a detail-oriented, full-time Medical Scribe to support our ultrasound diagnostic team, combining clinical documentation with direct patient communication under physician oversight.

About the Role

As a Medical Scribe specializing in ultrasound support, you'll provide essential clinical documentation services in our Mountain View practice. Your work ensures accurate, thorough records of diagnostic ultrasound examinations while facilitating clear communication between our physicians and patients. Working in a fast-paced medical environment, you'll combine meticulous attention to detail with compassionate patient interaction, playing a vital role in diagnostic accuracy and patient understanding of their health.

What You'll Do

• Review and meticulously document ultrasound test findings and diagnostic results
• Stage hepatic fibrosis and steatosis using established diagnostic protocols, including CAP (Controlled Attenuation Parameter) score calculation and clinical interpretation
• Prepare detailed, accurate diagnostic reports and clinical documentation under direct physician supervision
• Communicate ultrasound findings and diagnostic outcomes to patients in clear, accessible, compassionate language
• Maintain comprehensive and compliant medical records for all ultrasound examinations
• Support physicians with timely clinical documentation and patient care coordination
• Uphold diagnostic accuracy standards and documentation compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

• Prior healthcare experience or medical background, with clinical documentation or medical scribe experience preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to clinical accuracy and completeness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for patient and clinical interactions
• Professional demeanor with demonstrated commitment to patient confidentiality and compliance requirements
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a collaborative medical clinic setting
• Familiarity with medical terminology and foundational knowledge of ultrasound diagnostics
