As a Lead Sales Associate, you'll be the anchor of your shift—responsible for both delivering exceptional customer experiences and guiding your team to success. You'll work in one of Dollar General's thousands of stores, where every team member makes a real difference in serving our customers and supporting your local community.

What You'll Do

• Provide attentive customer service that drives sales and builds loyalty
• Lead and mentor store associates, coaching them toward excellence
• Manage daily operations including cash handling, inventory accountability, and merchandising
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor that invites customers to shop
• Support opening and closing procedures; ensure store safety and policy compliance
• Train new team members and help them grow into their roles
• Report to the Store Manager and contribute to store performance goals

What We're Looking For

• Retail or customer service background with demonstrated leadership ability
• Excellent communication skills and genuine interest in supporting your team
• Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic retail setting
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
• Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet transportation needs
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
