Orthopedic Surgeon (Total Joints)- Columbus, Ohio

OhioHealth is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in total joint replacement and reconstruction to join our surgical team in Columbus, Hempstead County, Ohio. This full-time position offers the opportunity to practice within a collaborative, forward-thinking health system that prioritizes physician leadership and surgical excellence.

About the Role

This position places you within an accomplished orthopedic surgical group dedicated to delivering advanced joint care. You'll work alongside four peer surgeons and four Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who share a commitment to clinical excellence and patient outcomes. The practice is fully established with strong referral networks and robust patient volume in hip, knee, and other major joint procedures.

What You'll Do

• Perform complex total joint arthroplasties, including primary and revision procedures
• Lead clinical decision-making for patients requiring hip and knee reconstruction
• Collaborate with APPs and supporting surgical staff to optimize patient care pathways
• Participate in a collegial, multi-surgeon practice with structured call coverage
• Contribute to the health system's commitment to patient outcomes and safety

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO degree with orthopedic surgical training and board certification or eligibility
• Demonstrated expertise in total joint arthroplasty (TJA)
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Commitment to evidence-based surgical practice and continuous improvement
• Willingness to be part of a collegial surgical group and take appropriate call coverage
