RN Ambulatory – Neurosurgery

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, seeks a full-time Registered Nurse specializing in Ambulatory Neurosurgery at our Bismarck Clinic in Regan, Burleigh County. In this role, you'll provide expert nursing care to neurosurgery patients while helping deliver world-class healthcare to rural communities across the heartland.

About the Role

This full-time RN position supports patients in our Ambulatory Neurosurgery clinic. You'll work 40-hour weeks on day shifts, partnering with neurosurgeons and clinical staff to deliver coordinated, compassionate patient care in one of America's leading rural health systems.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs during neurosurgery clinic visits
• Assist with patient preparation and manage post-procedure care and recovery
• Support neurosurgeons during patient consultations and clinical evaluations
• Educate patients on neurosurgical conditions, treatment options, and recovery expectations
• Coordinate care transitions and communicate clinical updates with the healthcare team
• Maintain detailed, accurate medical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
• Respond compassionately to patient concerns and advocate for individual patient needs

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license in North Dakota
• Clinical experience in ambulatory care or surgical nursing settings
• Competency in patient assessment, monitoring, and clinical decision-making
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development
