About the Role
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Clarvida Maine, you'll work part-time to provide comprehensive mental health services. You'll assess patients, develop treatment plans, manage medications, and collaborate with our interdisciplinary care team to improve outcomes for those we serve.
What You'll Do
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and initial health assessments
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment and recovery plans
- Provide patient education on mental health conditions and medications
- Document clinical findings and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other providers
- Manage a patient caseload within a part-time schedule
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Nursing with focus on psychiatry or mental health
- Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Washington
- Current psychiatric nurse practitioner certification
- Current DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances
- Clinical experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- Commitment to evidence-based psychiatric care and recovery-focused treatment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model
