Porter – JAX

Cambridge Management is hiring a full-time Porter at our Jacksonville, Duval County property. Join our team as we serve families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities across our affordable housing communities.

About the Role

As a Porter, you'll be the backbone of our residential community, ensuring our properties remain clean, well-maintained, and welcoming for all residents. Working full-time, you'll tackle a variety of tasks that directly impact our residents' quality of life and community pride.

What You'll Do

• Maintain cleanliness throughout residential buildings, common areas, hallways, and outdoor spaces
• Perform groundskeeping and landscaping duties to keep property exteriors attractive and safe
• Manage trash collection, removal, and proper disposal according to community standards
• Support general maintenance and light repairs under supervision or guidance
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and concerns from residents
• Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with property regulations
• Perform seasonal tasks including snow removal and yard maintenance

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Physical capability to perform the duties of the position
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Positive attitude and respect for all residents and team members
• Willingness to learn and adapt to community needs
