Grants and Compliance Manager – Contractor

ITC is hiring a full-time Grants and Compliance Manager to lead grant development, submission, tracking, and compliance initiatives for our institution in Atlanta, Fulton County. Reporting to the Chief Institutional Advancement Officer, you'll manage all aspects of the grant portfolio and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.

About the Role

The Grants and Compliance Manager oversees the complete grant lifecycle, from identifying funding opportunities through post-award administration and closeout. You will combine strategic grant research and proposal development with rigorous compliance oversight to maximize institutional funding and maintain funder relationships.

What You'll Do

• Research and evaluate funding opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and other sources aligned with institutional priorities
• Develop, write, and submit grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation
• Manage grant timelines, deadlines, and submission processes to ensure timely award decisions
• Track awarded grants through post-award administration and compliance monitoring
• Oversee grant budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting to maintain accuracy and funder compliance
• Prepare progress reports, final closeout documentation, and required funder deliverables
• Maintain grant files, records, and institutional databases for comprehensive tracking and reporting
• Collaborate with program staff and departments to align proposals with operational goals and capacity
• Monitor and ensure adherence to funder requirements, institutional policies, and applicable regulations

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in grant writing, grant management, or institutional advancement
• Proven track record developing and securing grants from diverse funding sources
• Strong knowledge of grant administration, compliance requirements, and funder expectations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with grant management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex projects
• Ability to track and manage multiple grants and deadlines simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, institutional advancement, business administration, or related field preferred
