Assistant Principal of Instruction

Jubilee Academies is seeking an Assistant Principal of Instruction to join our secondary campus in San Antonio, Texas. This full-time position offers educational leaders the opportunity to drive instructional excellence and shape the academic experience for students at Jubilee Lake View University Prep.

About the Role

As Assistant Principal of Instruction, you will serve as a key member of our administrative team, focusing on curriculum development, teacher support, and the continuous improvement of classroom instruction. Based in San Antonio's Bexar County, you'll work extended school hours with occasional weekend commitments as part of a dedicated campus leadership team. This 220-day position is full-time and exempt, offering an annual salary of $75,800.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and support classroom instruction through observation, coaching, and professional development
• Develop and implement curriculum initiatives aligned with campus and network goals
• Collaborate with teachers to identify instructional gaps and design targeted improvement strategies
• Lead professional learning communities and instructional planning sessions
• Support the implementation of evidence-based teaching practices across departments
• Manage the academic calendar, course scheduling, and resource allocation
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in teaching and learning

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Valid secondary teaching certificate or administrative certification for the State of Texas
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design and instructional best practices
• Strong communication and coaching skills with teachers and school staff
• Experience with data analysis and using assessment results to guide instruction
• Commitment to student success and equity in education
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced school environment
