About the Role
Our Maintenance Technician position is central to Cox Automotive's remarketing and service operations. You'll diagnose vehicle issues, execute repairs across diverse vehicle types, and maintain our fleet to the highest reliability standards. Your work directly impacts the quality of vehicles delivered to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostics and vehicle inspections using modern scan tools and factory service information systems
- Replace and repair components including brakes, belts, fluids, electrical systems, and suspension parts
- Complete preventive maintenance routines to ensure safe, reliable vehicle operation
- Document repair work accurately and maintain detailed service records
- Follow established safety protocols and quality standards in all maintenance procedures
- Support the remarketing process by preparing vehicles to specification
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or similar hands-on maintenance role
- Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and ability to interpret vehicle service data
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a service team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our Altamonte Springs location
