Web Press – Operator II (61011)

Join Walsworth as a Web Press Operator II in Ripon, Fond du Lac County. This part-time position offers an opportunity to take on a leadership role on the press line while working a consistent Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm schedule.

About the Role

As a Web Press Operator II, you'll manage critical press operations with the authority to oversee the press line and direct crew members during your shift. When the crew leader is on duty, you'll work directly alongside them to keep all press and folder systems running smoothly. This role is essential to maintaining production flow and quality standards in a fast-paced printing environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead and oversee press line operations and crew performance when the crew leader is absent
• Operate web press and folder equipment according to established procedures and specifications
• Supervise and coordinate with crew members assisting on the press line
• Work alongside the crew leader on operational and maintenance tasks when present
• Monitor production quality and troubleshoot issues on the press line
• Maintain equipment and communicate maintenance needs to leadership

What We're Looking For

• Experience operating web press and folder equipment in a printing or production environment
• Ability to lead and supervise crew members effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and address equipment issues
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm schedule
• Communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
