Licensed Irrigation Technician

Sodexo is seeking a Licensed Irrigation Technician for a full-time position at Troy University in Troy, Pike County. In this role, you'll maintain and optimize irrigation systems that keep campus grounds healthy and functional, working with flexible scheduling to meet operational needs.

About the Role

As a Licensed Irrigation Technician at Sodexo, you'll play a critical part in the university grounds maintenance operations. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling with varying shifts and hours to accommodate both organizational needs and your availability. What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems and equipment
• Inspect sprinkler systems, valves, controllers, and related infrastructure for proper function
• Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation issues to minimize downtime
• Adjust irrigation schedules and settings based on seasonal needs and weather conditions
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive care on all irrigation equipment
• Document work completed and report on system performance and repairs
• Collaborate with the grounds maintenance team to ensure campus aesthetics and functionality

What We're Looking For

• Valid irrigation technician license as required by your state
• Hands-on experience with irrigation systems and landscaping equipment
• Ability to work flexible hours and varying shifts
• Open availability is preferred for this position
