Human Resources Manager

Join Mactac North America as a Human Resources Manager in our Old Forge, Lackawanna County manufacturing facility. This full-time leadership position offers the opportunity to shape organizational culture, develop talent, and drive strategic HR initiatives across our plant operations.

About the Role

As an integral member of our facility's leadership team, you will oversee human resources operations while building and maintaining the strong, people-first environment that defines our workplace. You'll manage the full spectrum of HR functions in a dynamic manufacturing setting where your strategic vision and operational expertise directly impact employee engagement and organizational success.

What You'll Do

• Direct recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes to attract and retain skilled manufacturing and office staff
• Administer compensation, benefits, payroll, and compliance programs ensuring adherence to federal and state employment regulations
• Design and implement employee training and professional development programs aligned with organizational goals
• Lead organizational change initiatives, supporting employees through transitions and fostering adaptability across the facility
• Build and nurture an inclusive, safety-conscious workplace culture that values employee wellbeing and engagement
• Handle employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution with fairness and discretion
• Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning and succession strategies

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3+ years of HR management experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Proven ability to manage HR operations end-to-end and lead cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of employment law, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to connect with diverse workforces
• Strategic mindset with operational excellence and attention to detail
