What You'll Do
- Assess and manage hemodynamically complex cardiovascular ICU patients during overnight shifts
- Interpret cardiac monitoring, diagnostic imaging, and lab data to guide clinical interventions
- Collaborate with on-call cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and nursing staff on patient management
- Support post-operative cardiac surgery patients through critical early recovery
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and handoff communication
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and coordinate care transitions
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant
- Active RN license or PA certification in Texas
- Current national certification (ANCC, AAPA, or equivalent)
- Minimum experience in critical care, cardiac intensive care, or comparable acute care environment
- Demonstrated ability to function independently within a collaborative practice model
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to evidence-based care
