Network Engineer / Secret / Onsite: Kings Bay, GA with Security Clearance

Join Lockheed Martin as a Network Engineer supporting critical military space programs at our Saint Marys, Georgia facility near Kings Bay. This full-time, onsite position requires an active Secret-level security clearance and the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance, with direct reporting to our IS SWFLANT IT Operations leadership.

About the Role

As a Network Engineer in this role, you'll operate at the center of defense infrastructure, managing and maintaining network systems that power vital military space initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact mission-critical operations, ensuring reliability, security, and peak performance across our network environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure supporting military space operations
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to minimize downtime
• Implement and enforce security protocols aligned with Department of Defense standards
• Collaborate with IT Operations management to optimize system reliability and operational capability
• Document network configurations and maintain detailed technical records for compliance
• Support network upgrades and system integrations across the facility
• Respond to security incidents and implement corrective measures

What We're Looking For

• Active Secret-level security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret clearance required)
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise network design and management
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, and access controls
• Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tools
• Familiarity with Department of Defense compliance requirements and secure network environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with IT leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
