Counsel Real Estate Brokerage – Madison, NJ/NYC

Anywhere Integrated Services is hiring a Litigation Counsel to join the Real Estate Brokerage Litigation Team. This full-time position is based in Madison, Morris County, and provides strategic legal support to our portfolio of industry-leading brokerage brands.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Litigation Counsel to manage a dynamic litigation portfolio supporting our real estate brokerage companies, including Compass, Coldwell Banker, Coldwell Banker Commercial, Corcoran, Christie's International Real Estate, Sotheby's International Realty, and @properties. In this role, you'll serve as a legal partner to our brokerages, handling disputes, defending claims, and ensuring operations remain compliant with applicable law.

What You'll Do

• Manage an active and diverse litigation docket across multiple brokerage entities
• Review contracts, agency agreements, and commercial disputes
• Advise on regulatory compliance and real estate licensing matters
• Coordinate with external counsel on complex litigation and appeals
• Conduct investigations and lead settlement negotiations
• Provide strategic legal guidance to business leaders and operational teams

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar admission in a U.S. state
• 5+ years of litigation experience in real estate, commercial, or related practice areas
• Strong knowledge of real estate brokerage operations and agency law
• Excellent legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex matters concurrently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across teams
