About the Role
Warsaw Community Schools is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to step in on a temporary basis and provide essential support to our certified teaching staff. Working under the direction of a building principal, you'll help students succeed both academically and socially while maintaining a secure, positive school climate where learning can flourish.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and supervise students during lunch periods and outdoor recess to ensure their safety and help them make positive choices
- Facilitate small group reading sessions and other targeted academic support under teacher guidance
- Assist certified teachers with classroom activities and student engagement throughout the school day
- Support students with social-emotional development and conflict resolution
- Help maintain an organized, welcoming learning space
- Perform additional duties as assigned by building leadership to meet evolving school needs
