Role Overview

As our Dairy/Lead Clerk, you'll lead the dairy department while supporting store-wide operations. This hands-on leadership role combines merchandising, team development, and customer engagement to maximize sales and maintain operational excellence. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Organize, train, and supervise grocery clerks on best practices, product handling, and customer service standards
• Stock, merchandise, and maintain the dairy section to maximize visibility and sales
• Monitor inventory levels, order products, and ensure freshness and quality standards
• Provide direct assistance to customers, answer product questions, and resolve concerns
• Execute store promotions and seasonal displays in the dairy department
• Maintain detailed records of sales, shrinkage, and team performance
• Collaborate across departments to optimize store performance and profitability

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience directing a grocery or retail team (or demonstrated readiness to lead)
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational and attention to detail in a fast-paced retail environment
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work flexible retail hours
• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to Pick 'n Save's core values
• Basic math and inventory management capabilities
