CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant – Private Duty (Part-Time Days)

About the Role

As a Private Duty CNA with BrightSpring Health Services, you'll provide essential, patient-focused care to clients in their homes throughout the Memphis area. This part-time position offers flexible daytime hours and meaningful work with clients who depend on your attention and professionalism. You'll work closely with nursing staff to ensure each patient receives safe, dignified care tailored to their individual needs.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the clinical team
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and manage basic household tasks related to patient care
• Support patient mobility, positioning, and transfer activities using proper safety techniques
• Provide emotional support and companionship while maintaining professional boundaries
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and nursing supervisors about patient status and care needs
• Document care activities accurately and timely per agency protocols
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain HIPAA confidentiality standards

What We're Looking For

• Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patience and empathy
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physical capability to assist with patient care, lifting, and movement
• Reliable transportation for assignments throughout Memphis and DeSoto County
• Commitment to patient dignity, privacy, and person-centered care
• Willingness to maintain CPR/BLS certification (if required by client or employer)
