Floor Technician- 2nd Shift

About the Role

As part of the C&W Services Janitorial team, you will perform routine and periodic floor care tasks in assigned areas, working alongside colleagues to uphold the high standards our clients expect. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in a job well done, and can thrive during evening hours.

What You'll Do

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot‑clean various floor surfaces including tile, vinyl, concrete, and carpet
• Strip, scrub, wax, buff, and polish hard floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals
• Perform routine restroom sanitation, trash removal, and recycling collection
• Inspect work areas for safety hazards, report issues, and follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Maintain cleaning equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure supplies are stocked
• Assist with special projects such as event setup/teardown or deep cleaning as directed
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates to coordinate shift handovers and task priorities

What We're Looking For

• Ability to operate floor care machines such as automatic scrubbers, buffers, and extractors
• Familiarity with cleaning agents, proper dilution, and safety data sheets
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistent results
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, especially for evening shifts
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior janitorial or floor technician experience a plus
• Basic math skills for measuring chemicals and tracking inventory
• Eligibility to work in the United States and pass any required background checks
