We are partnering with CompHealth to place an experienced anesthesiology physician in Danville, IL. This locum assignment provides the opportunity to work in a clinical setting where your expertise in anesthesia management directly impacts patient safety and surgical outcomes. The position offers a standard 40-hour work week over five days.

What You'll Do

• Administer and manage anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and formulate individualized anesthesia plans for patients across all age groups
• Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and hemodynamic stability throughout procedures
• Manage the airway and respiratory support during anesthesia
• Provide post-operative pain management and recovery oversight
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other surgical team members to ensure patient safety
• Maintain detailed anesthesia records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted Illinois medical license
• Board certification or board-eligible status in Anesthesiology
• Current DEA registration
• Clinical expertise in anesthesia management and patient safety
• Collaborative team approach to surgical care
