Group Leader, Individual Family Flexibile Support Services

Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring a full-time Group Leader for Individual and Family Flexible Support Services in Beverly, Essex County. In this role, you'll deliver creative, individualized programming that helps young people ages 6–22 build confidence, independence, and meaningful relationships.

You'll work in a supportive team environment to design and lead group activities that meet each young person's unique strengths, interests, and goals. This is full-time, community-based work that combines mentorship, creative programming, and collaborative family support.

What You'll Do

• Lead group activities and programs tailored to the developmental needs and interests of youth ages 6–22
• Provide individualized mentorship focused on building self-confidence, independence, and positive peer relationships
• Create safe, inclusive spaces where young people can explore interests, take healthy risks, and grow
• Communicate regularly with youth and their families to understand goals and celebrate progress
• Work collaboratively with team members to coordinate services and ensure consistency of care
• Document observations and progress notes to support program planning and service delivery
• Model positive behaviors and problem-solving strategies that young people can adopt

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Demonstrated experience working with youth in educational, recreational, or community settings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect authentically with young people and families
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine commitment to youth development and independence
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to obtain a background check and meet screening requirements
• Current or willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic community-based environment
