Senior Consultant – Risk & Analytics (Property & Casualty Actuarial Consulting)

WTW is seeking a Senior Consultant - Risk & Analytics specializing in property and casualty actuarial consulting to join our Corporate practice team in Talcott Village, Hartford County. In this full-time position, you'll lead project teams delivering reserve studies, pricing and funding analyses, and captive insurance solutions for healthcare and corporate clients.

About the Role

You'll serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients navigating complex risk and analytics challenges. Your work spans feasibility studies, reserve valuations, alternative risk transfer strategies, and actuarial support for self-insured programs. This is a leadership-focused role where you'll manage team workflows, oversee analytical deliverables, and mentor junior consultants.

What You'll Do

• Lead project teams through data preparation, validation, and management for large-scale actuarial analyses
• Develop and present reserve studies, loss funding analyses, and pricing recommendations to C-suite executives and risk managers
• Deliver captive insurance consulting services, including formation studies and ongoing program evaluation
• Direct analytical work from scoping through final deliverables, ensuring quality and timeliness
• Engage directly with healthcare and corporate clients to understand their risk landscape and tailor solutions
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and fellow consultants on multi-disciplinary engagements

What We're Looking For

• Strong foundation in property and casualty actuarial methods, reserve analysis, and pricing principles
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams
• Excellence in data analysis, modeling, and presenting complex findings to non-technical audiences
• Project management skills with proven success delivering client engagements on schedule and budget
• Clear, professional communication and business writing capabilities
• Familiarity with healthcare and/or corporate risk management preferred
• Professional designation or active pursuit of actuarial credentialing a plus
