About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you're the heart of the Dollar General experience. You'll work on the sales floor, at the checkout, and throughout the store, ensuring our customers find what they need and have a positive shopping experience at every visit.

What You'll Do

• Welcome customers and help them locate products efficiently
• Operate the point-of-sale register with speed and accuracy
• Stock merchandise and maintain store displays in an organized, attractive manner
• Process sales transactions, handle payments, and resolve customer inquiries
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to the management team
• Keep the store clean, safe, and compliant with company standards
• Support fellow team members to maintain a collaborative store environment
• Learn and follow all Dollar General policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role (not required)
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended hours and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Valid transportation to our Clayton, Pushmataha County store location
• Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Ability to learn and follow company systems and store procedures
• Strong work ethic and genuine commitment to customer service
