Penn Tank Lines is hiring a CDL-A Local Tanker Driver for our operations across the United States. This is a full-time position operating fuel tanker trucks on established local routes, designed for drivers who value returning home daily.

About the Role

Join our team under new management as a professional CDL-A tanker driver. You'll transport fuel safely and efficiently on local delivery routes, serving as a critical part of our distribution operations. This position combines the responsibility of hazmat tanker operations with a home-daily work schedule.

What You'll Do

• Operate fuel tanker vehicles on local routes within your service area
• Transport fuel in full compliance with DOT and hazmat safety regulations
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and inventory tracking
• Deliver fuel to customer sites professionally and safely
• Follow company safety protocols and industry best practices consistently

What We're Looking For

• Current CDL-A license with tanker endorsement
• Clean driving record and passing DOT medical certification
• Prior fuel hauling or tanker driving experience preferred
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
• Reliable, detail-oriented work ethic
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and management
