About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you'll work with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and illnesses, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that restore functional abilities and promote independence in activities of daily living. You'll be central to our mission of delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a supportive, collaborative hospital environment.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities through comprehensive assessments and standardized testing
• Design and execute individualized occupational therapy treatment plans aligned with patient goals and medical needs
• Facilitate therapeutic activities that improve motor skills, cognitive function, and self-care independence
• Collaborate with physiatrists, physical therapists, nurses, and other team members to ensure coordinated, holistic patient care
• Document patient progress, modify treatment protocols as needed, and communicate outcomes to the care team
• Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, home safety, and post-discharge independence
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, documentation requirements, and best practice guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Passing score on the NBCOT examination
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, or related healthcare settings
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
