We're hiring an Operating Room RN to support our surgical teams with patient care, instrument management, and procedural assistance. This is a local contract nursing assignment designed for experienced professionals seeking flexible, short-term opportunities in the Akron area.
Position Details
- Start Date: July 24, 2026
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours total)
- Compensation: $54 per hour

What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Prepare operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams throughout procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical needs
- Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols
- Document patient care activities and surgical notes
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical technicians
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license (valid in Ohio)
- Minimum 18 months of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and perioperative protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
