Medlivo Therapy is hiring a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for an assignment at a skilled nursing facility in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas. This is a full-time travel position offering competitive weekly compensation of $1,560.

About the Role

Join our therapy staffing network for a 14-week travel assignment providing hands-on physical therapy support in a skilled nursing facility. You'll work a standard 40-hour week with eight-hour shifts, delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting. This travel position offers the opportunity to expand your clinical experience while supporting patient recovery in the Wichita Falls community.

What You'll Do

• Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering therapy services to SNF patients across various diagnoses and mobility levels
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training under PT supervision
• Help patients with transfers, positioning, and activities that support their rehabilitation goals
• Prepare treatment areas and therapeutic equipment for therapy sessions
• Document patient progress and therapy activities according to facility protocols
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
• Contribute to a patient-centered care environment that prioritizes safety and dignity

What We're Looking For

• Current Physical Therapy Assistant certification and valid Texas state license
• Clinical experience in skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the therapy team
• Physical stamina to perform hands-on patient care and mobility assistance
