About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Production Lead to oversee our swing shift operations. In this part-time supervisory role, you'll direct day-to-day production activities, maintain safety standards, and ensure product quality across our glue lamination and timber processing workflows.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate swing shift crew, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Oversee glue lamination and timber manufacturing processes to meet daily production targets
- Inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications before shipment
- Maintain strict safety protocols and ensure team compliance with workplace standards
- Monitor equipment operation and report maintenance needs to management
- Communicate production status and any operational issues to upper management
- Assist with inventory management and efficient use of materials and forest byproducts
What We're Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments, preferably with timber or lumber
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control practices
- Ability to work swing shift schedule reliably
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production equipment
