About the Role
As an experienced service technician and mechanic at Swickard Auto Group's Oakland location, you'll take on a leadership role within our service department. You'll mentor and supervise fellow technicians while ensuring every Audi that enters our facility receives the highest standard of care and craftsmanship.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise a team of service technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems on Audi vehicles
- Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance and service according to Audi factory specifications
- Conduct quality inspections and provide technical guidance to junior technicians
- Manage service workflow and prioritize repairs to meet customer timelines
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation
- Communicate directly with customers about repair needs and service progress
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic with expertise in luxury or premium vehicle repair
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for complex automotive systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technicians
- Knowledge of Audi vehicles, systems, and service protocols
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
