Mental Health Therapist – South Hills

New Directions Mental Health is hiring a Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Boston, Allegheny County. This is a full-time position where you'll provide compassionate therapeutic services and make a meaningful impact on the mental health and wellbeing of the individuals and families we serve in the South Hills community.

What You'll Do

• Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care
• Assess client mental health status and adjust interventions as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and support when appropriate
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree or higher in a mental health-related field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or equivalent)
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or comparable credential in Pennsylvania
• Experience providing direct mental health services to diverse client populations
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to ethical practice and cultural competence
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment
