Senior Director Acquisition & Performance Marketing

Autodesk is hiring a Senior Director of Acquisition & Performance Marketing in Portland, Multnomah County for a full-time position to build and lead a transformative customer acquisition function. This is a rare opportunity to architect a new, enterprise-wide acquisition capability from the ground up.

About the Role

As Senior Director of Acquisition & Performance Marketing at Autodesk, you'll lead the strategic vision and execution of a newly established customer acquisition engine. This is a foundational leadership role—you'll move Autodesk from distributed, tactic-driven marketing efforts to a centralized, data-driven enterprise capability. You'll report directly to senior leadership, own P&L accountability for new customer acquisition, and set the operational and cultural standards for this function as it scales.

What You'll Do

• Stand up and lead the customer acquisition organization, defining strategy, structure, and operational excellence
• Build and scale high-performing teams across paid media, demand generation, analytics, and channel management
• Establish data-driven frameworks for customer acquisition cost, conversion metrics, and ROI optimization
• Drive new customer ARR growth through integrated campaigns spanning digital channels, partnerships, and direct sales enablement
• Set acquisition benchmarks, reporting cadences, and accountability structures that embed acquisition as a core enterprise function
• Partner with product, sales, and finance leadership to align acquisition strategy with broader business objectives

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years in acquisition marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation leadership at scaling B2B SaaS or enterprise software companies
• Proven success building and managing teams of 15+ marketers, analysts, and media specialists
• Deep expertise in digital marketing channels (paid search, display, video, social, affiliate), marketing technology stacks, and analytics platforms
• Track record of establishing acquisition as a strategic business function and moving campaigns from art to science
• Strong financial acumen—comfort with CAC analysis, unit economics, and P&L ownership
• Executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at the C-suite level
