Customer Service Rep – Healthcare (UMA Grads, Remote)

About the Role

In this remote position, you'll provide direct support to customers navigating healthcare-related questions, accounts, and services. Working from home in the Baton Rouge region, you'll be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to resolving issues quickly and professionally while maintaining the highest standards of care and confidentiality that healthcare demands.

What You'll Do

• Handle customer inquiries through phone, email, and chat regarding healthcare services, policies, and accounts
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues efficiently while documenting all interactions accurately
• Provide clear, empathetic explanations of healthcare information and procedures to diverse customers
• Process customer requests and updates in company systems while adhering to healthcare privacy requirements
• Escalate complex or sensitive issues to appropriate departments when needed
• Meet performance standards for response times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction ratings
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of healthcare services, products, and industry regulations
