Join Kennel Club LAX as a full-time Kennel Attendant, Bather, Receptionist, and Driver in Westchester. We're a premier pet boarding and daycare facility seeking dedicated team members to deliver exceptional care to dogs and cats during their stays with us.
About the Role
This is a versatile, full-time position within our pet hospitality operation. You'll support multiple functions including animal care, guest services, grooming assistance, facility management, and transportation—all essential to our mission of providing a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment for every pet we serve.
What You'll Do
- Manage kennels, exercise areas, and living spaces, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and comfort for all animals in our care
- Provide hands-on care including feeding, hydration, and behavioral monitoring throughout boarding stays and daycare sessions
- Assist with bathing, drying, and basic grooming to prepare guests for pickup or special events
- Greet clients at reception, answer inquiries, check animals in and out, and process reservations with professionalism and warmth
- Transport pets to and from locations as needed, safely and securely
- Monitor pet health and behavior, reporting concerns to management immediately
What We're Looking For
- Genuine love for animals and proven comfort handling dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments
- Physical stamina for an active, hands-on role involving lifting and standing throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for the driver component of this role
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team and adapt to shifting priorities
