About the Role
As a Part Time Lunchroom Aide at Butterfield Elementary School, you'll play an important role in our daily food service operations. Working one hour per day throughout the 178-day school year, you'll help ensure students receive proper nutrition and supervision during mealtime in a welcoming, organized environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist with food preparation and serving to students during lunch periods
- Help students navigate the lunch line and select appropriate meal options
- Monitor student conduct and promote positive lunch experiences
- Keep the lunchroom clean and organized, including wiping tables and managing food service areas
- Support the food service team and follow all health and safety guidelines
- Help maintain a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all students
