Marketing & Growth Lead @ early-stage consumer social app

Cheez is seeking a Marketing & Growth Lead to drive user acquisition and community engagement for a new consumer social app powered by facial recognition technology. This is a full-time position based in Covington, Kenton County.

About the Role

As the Marketing & Growth Lead at Cheez, you'll own the go-to-market strategy for a novel social platform designed to reconnect friends through the photos they capture. You'll partner directly with the Founder and CEO to build brand awareness, acquire users, and foster meaningful engagement in a rapidly evolving social app space. This is an opportunity to shape the early growth trajectory of a product with genuine viral potential.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies focused on user acquisition, retention, and engagement
• Create and distribute compelling content across social media, email, in-app channels, and other platforms to build the Cheez community
• Analyze user behavior, campaign performance, and market trends to inform strategy and optimize for growth
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to align marketing initiatives with feature releases and product roadmap
• Identify and nurture partnership opportunities that expand reach and drive organic growth
• Test and iterate on acquisition channels and messaging to maximize ROI and user quality

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in growth marketing, user acquisition, or marketing strategy for consumer apps or technology products
• Strong data analysis skills and comfort with analytics tools to measure and optimize campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to craft authentic brand messaging
• Experience with digital marketing channels including social media, organic growth, and performance marketing
• Self-motivated, resourceful mindset with ability to move quickly and wear multiple hats in a startup environment
• Passion for social products and understanding of what drives user engagement and viral growth
