Maxor National Pharmacy Services is hiring a Business Analyst, Pricing and Underwriting to join our team in Arcata, Humboldt County. In this full-time position, you'll drive data-driven analysis to support our Specialty pharmacy pricing strategies and underwriting decisions.
About the Role
As a Business Analyst focused on Pricing and Underwriting, you'll sit at the intersection of finance, clinical operations, and client relationships. You'll own the compilation, analysis, and reporting of complex data sets that inform contract pricing for Specialty services within our Pharmacy Benefit Manager environment. Your insights will directly influence how we structure and evaluate pricing agreements with our clients.
What You'll Do
- Compile and analyze financial and operational data to support Specialty pharmacy contract pricing
- Build custom reports that assess the impact of client requests and underwriting scenarios
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, Clinical, and Account Management teams to evaluate contract terms and commercial viability
- Identify trends, patterns, and cost drivers in Specialty pharmacy pricing
- Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
- Support the preparation of pricing proposals and contract documentation
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or business analysis
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools
- Strong ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences
- Detail-oriented approach with excellent accuracy in data compilation and reporting
- Experience in pharmacy, insurance, or healthcare is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
