About the Role

As Associate Director, you'll drive scientific innovation and organizational excellence within our Cell & Gene Therapy group. Working standard business hours in our Middleton office environment, you'll bridge technical expertise with leadership responsibility—shaping both the science we develop and the teams who deliver it.

What You'll Do

• Lead cross-functional projects in cell and gene therapy research, development, or manufacturing
• Contribute to strategic planning and technical decision-making for therapy advancement
• Oversee quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards across assigned initiatives
• Collaborate with colleagues across R&D, operations, and clinical functions to accelerate product timelines
• Mentor technical staff and support team development
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and external partners

What We're Looking For

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, biomedical engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in cell therapy, gene therapy, or adjacent translational research
• Demonstrated expertise in cell and gene therapy science, manufacturing, or clinical translation
• Strong project management and cross-functional team leadership capabilities
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, GxP standards, and quality systems
• Excellent communication skills and scientific writing ability
• Proven ability to balance technical rigor with business acumen
