About the Role

As a Health Consultant with Public Consulting Group, you'll work directly with state and local health agencies to develop and implement solutions that strengthen operations and expand access to critical services. This full-time, on-site position is based in Jackson, Hinds County, where you'll collaborate with colleagues to tackle real-world challenges in public health.

What You'll Do

• Partner with health agencies to assess current operations, identify improvement opportunities, and design sustainable solutions
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, gather data, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations
• Support the development and implementation of new programs, policies, or operational processes
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to agency staff throughout the implementation phase
• Monitor progress against objectives and refine approaches based on results and feedback
• Contribute to proposals, project plans, and reports that communicate strategies and outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health administration, policy, business, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in process improvement or consulting
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups
• Detail-oriented approach to data collection, analysis, and documentation
• Professional judgment and the ability to navigate complex organizational environments
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and project work
