About the Role

Mayo Clinic seeks an experienced Journeyworker Electrician for full-time work in Rochester. You'll be integral to keeping our facilities' electrical infrastructure reliable, safe, and code-compliant. Working collaboratively with our Electrical Master of Record and facilities team, you'll tackle a diverse range of electrical challenges across a dynamic healthcare campus.

What You'll Do

• Perform maintenance and repair on electrical equipment and building systems
• Install electrical systems under the supervision of the Electrical Master of Record
• Replace electrical components and equipment while meeting safety standards
• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
• Support emergency repairs and respond to facility needs as required
• Document completed work and maintain accurate equipment records
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety protocols

What We're Looking For

• Current journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification
• Demonstrated experience in electrical installation, repair, and maintenance work
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
• Strong understanding of building codes and electrical safety standards
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Availability to work full time during standard business hours
