RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, Military Engines – General Finance to join our finance leadership team in a remote position across the United States. This full-time role offers the opportunity to drive strategic financial oversight for one of the defense industry's most critical programs.
About the Role
As Principal Specialist in Military Engines General Finance, you will hold a senior finance leadership position responsible for strategic financial management, planning, and analysis. You will serve as a key financial advisor to program leadership, supporting the financial health and operational excellence of our military engines business.
What You'll Do
- Develop and oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for military engine programs
- Lead financial analysis and provide strategic insights to senior program leadership
- Manage cost control, variance analysis, and financial performance optimization
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial reporting across program operations
- Collaborate with program management and operations teams to enhance financial outcomes
- Identify cost efficiency opportunities and drive process improvement initiatives
- Monitor financial trends and assess risks affecting program performance
What We're Looking For
- Senior-level experience in finance or accounting, preferably in defense, aerospace, or government contracting
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and cost management
- Strong knowledge of government contracting standards and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with financial modeling, data analysis, and enterprise systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
- U.S. citizenship is required
- No security clearance required for this position
