About the Role
As a Patient Service Specialist, you'll serve as a crucial front office resource for the Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation, welcoming patients, managing check-in processes, and coordinating administrative tasks that keep our clinics running smoothly. Based in our Prestonwood location, you'll float between multiple clinics in Addison, Farmers Branch, Coppell, Carrollton, Plano, Frisco, Richardson, The Colony, and Little Elm, providing consistent support wherever it's needed most.
What You'll Do
- Register and check in patients, ensuring accurate information and smooth clinic flow
- Verify insurance eligibility and manage patient billing information
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions
- Support medical records management, documentation, and administrative tasks
- Travel between multiple outpatient locations as a float resource
- Provide professional customer service and create a welcoming patient experience
