About the Role

As a Biometric Technician with Amentum, you will help advance the goals of a federal program serving USCIS in the Miami area. Working alongside a collaborative group of professionals, you will assist applicants through the biometrics capture process with accuracy, courtesy, and attention to detail. This is a part-time position based in West Miami, Miami-Dade County.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect fingerprints, photographs, and other biometric data from applicants in accordance with USCIS standards and procedures.
• Support the daily operations of a government immigration program located in the Miami-Dade County area.
• Verify applicant identity documentation and ensure all records are captured completely and correctly.
• Maintain a professional, respectful environment for a diverse population of applicants.
• Work cooperatively as part of a dedicated team to meet program service targets and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed federal procedures and protocols for biometric data collection.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills when assisting members of the public.
• Comfort operating fingerprinting and imaging equipment, with careful attention to data accuracy.
• Dependability and the flexibility to perform the role on a part-time schedule.
