About the Role

As a Guest Advocate at Target Winterhaven, you're the face of the store. Whether you're running a register, welcoming shoppers at the entrance, or keeping the parking lot stocked with carts, your energy directly shapes how every guest feels about their visit. This position blends cashier duties, front-of-store responsibilities, and cart attendant work — giving you variety while keeping the guest at the center of everything you do.

What You'll Do

• Process purchases accurately and efficiently at the register, including cash, card, and digital payment methods
• Greet guests warmly at the front of the store and make them feel welcome from the moment they arrive
• Retrieve and organize shopping carts from the parking lot and cart corrals, ensuring a steady, accessible supply for incoming guests
• Assist guests with questions, directions throughout the store, and any concerns that arise during their visit
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized front-of-store environment, including entrance areas and checkout lanes
• Resolve guest issues with confidence and care, escalating when appropriate to create a positive resolution
• Support team members during high-traffic periods to keep checkout lines moving and service levels high
• Uphold Target's brand standards for friendliness, speed, and accuracy in every guest interaction

• Clear, friendly communication skills with guests and fellow team members
• No prior retail experience required — Target provides training for the right candidate
