About the Role
As the Director — Talent Assessment Science based in Washington, D.C., you will own the strategic direction of Gallup's hiring assessment science — a discipline grounded in decades of research, millions of data points, and a record of shaping how employers around the globe identify and select talent. Working hand in hand with researchers, technologists, and client-facing teams, you will guide the next phase of this work and ensure it continues to set the standard for evidence-based selection. This is a full-time, on-site position in Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the scientific vision behind Gallup's pre-hire assessment offerings.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners across research, technology, and client teams.
- Advance the methodology and rigor that underpin how organizations select talent.
- Translate large-scale research and data into reliable, defensible hiring solutions.
- Champion the integrity and continued evolution of Gallup's selection science.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in talent assessment, selection science, or a closely related research field.
- Proven ability to lead scientific strategy and direct complex, multidisciplinary work.
- Strong command of research methods and the use of data to inform hiring decisions.
- Experience partnering across research, technology, and client functions to deliver results.
- Willingness to work on-site full-time in Washington, D.C.
