About the Role

PTR Global is partnering with a leading telecommunications client to fill an experienced Permit Manager position in the Charlotte, NC area. This is a long-term contract opportunity structured on a hybrid schedule. Candidates must already reside in the market or be prepared to travel into the region or relocate at their own cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, draft, and assemble permitting applications for Fiber and OSP infrastructure builds.
• File and submit completed permit applications to the appropriate jurisdictions and agencies.
• Oversee and administer the full lifecycle of active permits from submission through approval.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to keep permitting timelines aligned with construction schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation and track the status of pending and approved permits.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience managing permits, ideally within the telecommunications, Fiber, or OSP sectors.
• Strong familiarity with permit application processes and local jurisdictional requirements.
• Ability to work on-site within the Charlotte market on a hybrid basis.
• Willingness to travel into the market or relocate at personal expense if not already based locally.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to juggle multiple applications and deadlines.
