About the Role
As Energy Manager - Power Supply at Meta, you will own our demand flexibility and emerging grid strategy program across our worldwide data center portfolio. Sitting within Meta's Energy Team, you will act as the internal commercial and technical authority on how our facilities source, manage, and optimize electricity. Our data centers are the backbone that allows Meta to scale its services reliably, and this Douglas, Juneau-based position is central to ensuring that foundation stays resilient and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of demand flexibility initiatives spanning Meta's global data center operations.
- Shape and advance emerging grid strategy, translating evolving energy markets into actionable plans.
- Serve as the company's internal commercial and technical point of reference for power supply decisions.
- Partner with infrastructure, operations, and procurement teams to align energy sourcing with growth.
- Evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainability across the power portfolio.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated commercial experience within the energy sector, ideally tied to large-scale power supply.
- A strong technical grounding in electricity markets, grid operations, or demand-side management.
- Ability to balance commercial judgment with engineering and operational realities.
- Comfort operating across global, cross-functional teams in a fast-moving infrastructure environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in Douglas, Juneau, as this is not a remote role.
