About the Role
As a Paraprofessional at CFHS, you'll play a vital role in supporting classroom instruction and helping students reach their academic goals. Working under the direction of certified teachers, you'll assist in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
What You'll Do
- Provide instructional support to students in the classroom, including small-group instruction and one-on-one tutoring as directed by teachers
- Monitor student behavior and provide feedback to support positive classroom management and school-wide expectations
- Assist with academic support for general education, special education, or English language learner students, depending on assignment
- Help organize instructional materials, prepare learning resources, and maintain classroom records
- Communicate with students, parents, and staff to support student progress and address concerns
- Support extracurricular activities, events, and supervisory duties as assigned

- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow classroom procedures and collaborate with teachers and school staff
- Patience, reliability, and a commitment to supporting student success
- Flexibility and willingness to work in a dynamic school environment
- Paraprofessional certification or willingness to obtain it preferred
