About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Waste Minimisation Coordinator to join our team and support Massey University’s sustainability goals. This role will focus on reducing waste sent to disposal while increasing reuse, recycling, and resource recovery across their Manawatū campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement waste minimisation strategies in collaboration with Massey University's sustainability and operational teams
- Monitor and report on waste generation, diversion rates, and recycling activities
- Engage with students, staff, and local communities to promote sustainable practices and reduce campus waste
- Collaborate with Waste Management’s sustainability, account management, and operations departments to ensure alignment of goals and initiatives
