About the Role

As Operations Manager at the Union Gap plant, you will oversee all aspects of facility operations, from safety and compliance to efficiency and performance. You'll serve as the senior on-site leader responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and profitable daily operations at this waste, recycling, or transfer station.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily operations at the waste and recycling facility, managing equipment, staff, and workflows
• Develop and enforce comprehensive safety protocols aligned with OSHA and environmental regulations
• Recruit, train, and supervise plant staff to maintain service levels and production targets
• Monitor equipment condition, schedule maintenance, and manage facility upkeep
• Track operational performance, costs, and compliance metrics to optimize plant efficiency
• Collaborate with company leadership and external partners on operational and strategic matters
• Respond to equipment failures and operational challenges with effective problem-solving

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on operations management experience in waste, recycling, transfer, or similar industrial operations
• Strong expertise in OSHA safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Proven track record leading and developing teams in manufacturing or utility environments
• Solid understanding of industrial equipment operation and preventive maintenance
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in operations, business, or engineering, or equivalent professional experience

Compensation & Benefits
