VP, Assistant Branch Manager – Tacoma, WA

Charles Schwab Careers is seeking a VP, Assistant Branch Manager to lead operations and growth initiatives at our University Place, Pierce County location in the Tacoma area. This is a full-time leadership role focused on delivering exceptional client service while building high-performing teams.

Position Summary

As Assistant Branch Manager, you'll be central to branch success, overseeing daily operations, client relationships, and staff development. You'll work alongside your branch leadership team to execute business strategy, maintain service excellence, and create an environment where both clients and team members thrive. Your Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day branch operations and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
• Support client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction initiatives across the branch
• Develop and mentor branch staff, fostering growth and engagement
• Collaborate with branch leadership to drive sales, service, and operational goals
• Monitor branch performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal procedures

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in a financial services or branch operations environment
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and develop teams
• Knowledge of financial products, services, and investment concepts
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Series 7, 63, or related securities licenses (or willingness to obtain)
• Bachelor's degree preferred
